3 ply Type I Surgical Face Mask

 

Our 3-ply face masks have a multi-ply design to better prevent inhalation of non-oily airborne pollutants. The blue outer layer and white inner layer are made out of non-woven materials, with a polypropylene filtration layer in the middle. The non-woven layers are designed to provide a comfortable fit, with the protective melt-blown middle layer serving as the barrier.

Bacteria filter efficiency (BFE)

Our Type I medical masks effectively resist bacterial penetration with a rating of at least 95% in accordance with the European standard. Therefore, you can go about your business, knowing that you are 95 - 99.9% protected from inhaling airborne pollutants.

High breathability

The combination of a soft lightweight material and comparatively low breathing resistance allows for greater breathability. This also means the fabric is more absorbent, which serves to lessen the moisture build-up.

Disposable

In order for your Type I mask to effectively protect you from the pollutants you should wear it for a maximum of four to five hours. Please do not share your 3-ply face mask with other people. If your mask becomes damaged or dirty, throw it away. Please follow the World Health Organisation's (WHO) guidelines for correctly putting the mask on and off.

How To Wear a Face Mask the Correct Way

1. Clean your hands. Before putting on your face mask, wash your hands or clean them with sanitizer.
2. Grab the mask by the ear strings. The cloth part of your mask is the part that would come in direct contact with the virus particles, so you should handle your mask by the ear strings. This also applies when taking off your mask.
3. Cover your mouth, nose and chin with the mask. Only covering your mouth with a face mask does not completely protect you from spreading because droplets infected with the virus can settle in your mouth and nose
4. Check for gaps. A properly sized face mask will have minimal gaps under the chin and at the sides. Noticeable gaps between your skin and the mask can allow infected droplets to slip in and out.
5. When removing your face mask, repeat steps 1 and 2. You wear your mask to protect yourself from harmful germs. Not taking proper precaution when removing your face mask could actually undo all that work that your mask did for you.
6. Fold the outside corners together. This keeps any infected particles on the outside of your mask from spreading throughout your home, car or wherever you take off your mask.
