The 7 cm wide and 27-meter-long white porous pad is used before taping to make removing the tapes easy, painless and uncomfortable. The cape provides freer movement, protects the hair of athletes' hands or feet from sticking.
Used under tapes for freedom of movement and easier removal of tapes.
Substrate made of a thin layer of polyurethane that is strong and porous. The tape is used before taping to make removing the tapes easy and painless, as well as allowing you to move more freely after taping.
It is especially suitable for taping if the hair of athletes' hands and feet sticks to the tapes.
- Lightweight, comfortable foam underwrap
- Apply to skin prior to adhesive tape such as Zinc or EAB
- Creates barrier to protect the skin from rubbing or irritation
- Keeps tape adhesive off the skin
Instruction of use
- Wrap the area you intend to tape in the underwrap - a single layer is usually enough.
- Foam underwrap has no stick at all but does cling lightly to itself. If you struggle with it, try some pre-tape adhesive or a thin smear of petroleum jelly to give it some tack.
- The underwrap does not need to be tight but try to keep it close to the skin without any slack (as pictured.)
- Once the area is wrapped, apply the strapping tape on top. (You need to get this part right first time, because if you pull back the tape the underwrap will tear away with it.)
- Once the tape job is complete, you can tear or cut away any excess underwrap which protrudes at the edges.
