Gauze Swabs provide fast-wicking action, superior aeration, and excellent absorbency. Finished edges on the product reduce loose ends and lint.

Indications of Priducts
The gauze can be used as a primary dressing, open-weave design provides fast wicking action, superior aeration and excellent absorbency;reduced risk of maceration.
As a secondary dressing, the gauze can be used to provide increased bulk and cushioning, conformability, and improved wound site protection. Ideal for bandaging heads, limbs and difficult-to-dress wounds; i.e. - burns, plastic and orthopaedic wounds.
How to Use Sterile Gauze Swabs
Always ensure your hands are washed and that you wear disposable gloves if possible when cleaning a wound. Keep gauze swab use sterile when cleaning a wound by using the aseptic non-touch technique.
To clean a wound with a gauze swab:
- Ensure your hands are clean and that you put on a pair of disposable gloves if possible.
- Run the wound under clean water if you can.
- Remove a gauze swab carefully from its packaging.
- Soak the gauze swab in saline wound wash.
- Gently dab or wipe the wound with the gauze. Don't use antiseptic as this could damage the skin.
